Trek Details : The high passes of the Himalayas have been used throught the centuries by the trans-migratory Gaddi shepherds herding their flock over the greener pastures. One such crossing is the Buran Pass ( 15,500 ft ) whcih separates the Pabbar Valley and Sangla valley in Himachal Pradesh. Used mainly by the Gaddi shepherds of the area, and in the early days by the British in order to avoid the long arduous travel through the Satluj valley watershed. One reach Baspa Valley by crossing the Buran Pass. The pass is an ideal abse for trekking and tones a challenging trek in Pabbar Valley.
Day - 01 - Arrive at Shimla
Arrive Shimla. Overnight stay at hotel
Day - 02 - Shimla to Ponta Village
Overnight at Guest House. Evening Village Study & preparation.
Day - 03 - Janglik
Drive to Devdu & Trek to camp short of Jaglik (8,000ft).
Day - 04 - Meadows near Mounty
A short day spent at jhanglik and camp a little beyond in the meadows ahead near Mounty. (10,280 ft).
Day - 05 - Trek to Bianala
Trek past Litham to the meadows of Bianala to camp below Buran pass. (11,980ft).
Day - 06 - Buran Pass to Burua Dogri
Today, we cross the Buran Pass (15,500ft) to camp at Burua Dogri (10,000ft).
Day - 07 - Trek to Karchham
Trek to Karchham, the roadhead to camp / Rest House.
Day - 08 - Drive to Sarahan
Shimla - Drive to Sarahan Visit famous Bhimakali Temple and return back to the Shimla with sweet memories of journey.
